Not always, check out AGS's chart after they raised funds at 67 cents in September 2006. There are many examples where the ability to raise funds has highlighted the confidence that investors have in a company, which is followed by a stellar run in the share price. I predict that any future fund raising by Bannerman will be massively oversubscribed (if thats the way funds are sought) and followed by a boom period in the share price.
