No obvious catalyst for a spike like this. The problem with the stock is the lack of volume. The fact that I could place a 50k buy or sell trade and potentially move the stock a few cents makes it very hard to find a support base for price, hence the volatility. E.g. a fund may have been trying to take a position in the stock today and caused this purely due to the lack of market depth.
