Sadly, in the REAL world of business & investment, "fairness" doesnt figure in any equation. It is all about returns on an investment. Put a squeeze on & take away the incentive to invest, and investment will dry up causing projects to be canned and jobs facing jeopardy. The REAL world operates on greed -look at the US financial institutions, lol. If we try to curb greed & tax business in the interests of fairness, we will become the Banana Republic Keating spoke of.
