It could be manipulation, by some party that is very keen for as many rights holders to sign up as possible, given that today is the last day of the offer.

If so, the question is 'who?' and another would be 'why?' !!!

p.s. independent of today's SP action, I've decided to take my (paltry allocation of) rights, plus try to get additional shares equal to the amounts that I 'wrote off' in the last month, selling first when the funding was announced and finally on the Nuon announcement. I couldn't bare to be out of the action if this company does finally turn it all around. I thought I would definitely get the extra requested, but after today's SP action (/manipulation?!) I'm not so sure ... there might be a big late take-up
