Look at KDR, they were approached early on by MZN - instead of signing the deal to sell - they went to test their resources and eventually sold 50% to SQM for many times the original offer from MZN.

That's my point.

The profit is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH greater when the resource is determined.

You get more interested buyers then and the price offered is much higher.

You would possibly have represented truth better if you knew what your talking about. If you think KDR got great value for selling for a song to SQM then there could be a few bricks missing on your load. Giving it away doesn't excite me. But you infer great value. Thankfully we have a competent marketing team.
