The trial was (I believe) Australia wide, why should they know each other.
We don't know what pecentage of the trial was placebo 50% or 90%.
A randomised distribution could result in one doctor receiving all placebo.
It is unlikely that the doctors would arrange for patients to be booked so that they would meet. It was also done over some months, so there possibly was limited overlap between patients.
Why didn't the patients sell off a few weeks ago rather than wait until now?
