re: why the cheap prices the problem is the risk/reward is just not favourable.

go ask any academic in the field what the chances of this obesity drug of being a commercial success are and you'll likely get an answer less than 20%.

go ask retail investors (who appear to be the main holders of mbp - mbp was on commsec's top 5 "most popular sells" list today) the same question, and they'll give you a 20% chance... that it will NOT be sucessful.

that's the point of view i take, and i invite someone to look up an academic's email address from any university, ask him what chances, and post his reply here. if most professor's start agreeing that it's a winner, then, well, you can put me on your permanent ignore list :-)
