I think i can answer this to your satisfaction...there are large warehouses in Shanghai..and many other smaller ones dotted throughout China.

.There are storehouses in Indonedia and the Philippines..access to the holdings in those warehouses overall...is impossible...so basically it is all a guesstimate of what nickel stockpiles really are..i get around a bit and i have some fairly reliable contacts..however not to every warehouse ..i would purely be guessing...not so long ago i did call a low of the copper and nickel price..very near this level..I have been bearish on copper and on nickel for the past 2 years.I do expect higher prices for one very good reason.The USD is grossly artifically high on simple mathematics of their debt of 20 trillion dollars ...cheers ..
