SP descent is a real bother. Searching for substantive fundamental reasons for SP. One that comes to mind is that the Greens are pushing for increased animal care and respect. That includes putting an end to the export of live animals for consumptive purposes. Clearly, this not good for Wellard. However, it will be tough to get through parliament given that beef is Australia's highest dollar value food export, which is set to only increase into the future.
