I posted in the announcement thread that this may well be a good outcome. The previous model that CJ was chasing after was very high risk and I had doubted if he could pull it off. While we don’t know the exact reason why MUS has decided that a more conservative approach is the way to go. The conservative approach has the advantage in we are more likely to get a 5x return, but less likely to get a 50 bagger.

I would have been happy for CJ to try and succeed with the cut stone model, but I have the luxury of not having my entire life savings tied up in the company nor do I have to worry about a lack of shareholder support while I pursue a years long strategy to build a mini De Beers.
