Gold price currently has little to do CHN - they don't have a gold deposit.
What they have is $52 million in USD, or now AUD $56 million. It was less then AUD $49 mil a few months ago.
In addition the lower the sp goes of other mining coy, the better or more buying power CHN has. What they couldn't afford, they now can. Simple.
