I was just doing some more reading. The SPP was for $2.60 (hardly a good price considering the share price was trending down at the time) and not offered to retail investors (which always pisses me off no end if I hold the company).
No wonder it was not popular.
So maybe next time (and there will be a next time) they will offer it to retail investors at a discounted price where the share price is in an uptrend.
I only own a few, but doubt I'll buy any more until I see a firm bottom.
