I'd say that it is simply about focus. They know the scale and quality of what they are after, and they know where there best chances of finding it are. Anything else either distraction for key people or gets second rate spending discipline and second rate expertise.
Am actually waiting a little about 8, and might yet move up a few cents. I doubt the next low will quite get to 8.
