re: gsw - easy? you're kidding! I didn't actually mean that trading was easy. Your question was "(and how can you tell if it's the buyers or the sellers that are causing the price change?)"
I mearly meant that if there were more buyers than sellars the price would go up and visa versa.
I do sympathize with you as I have been doing this full time for many years and in the early years I lost about half my net wealth.
One piece of advice I can offer is that after all my trials and tribulations is- the market never behaves the way you want it too.
