I reckon one of the reasons for the current weakness might be the fact that it is almost a year since all those toxo's expired. Remember that the toxo's were so far in the money that by the beginning of December last year a lot of people had started converting them. Thanks to the pretty spectacular growth in the share price, a lot of people would be pretty overweight in tox, but may have been hanging on for the CGT discount (me included). I was wondering a few months ago whether there would be a bit of a stampede to the gates in December / January - looks like there will be. Good time for a fund or major investor to take a stake too mind you.
