Abbott was quite effective at dismantling policies implemented by the previous govt, there's no question about that.
But after that, the vacuum, which nature abhors.
I can't imagine how embarrassing it must have been for the Liberals to have the goofy pugilist Abbott as PM. They would have been the laughing stock for conservatives around the world.
