Spoke awhile back to The Teflon Kid (BG), and he has no intention whatever of releasing the investor pack to the market - read shareholders. We who have our moola in this company will be provided with an "Executive Summary" which of course can be and usually is devoid of any detail about the main document.
His justification for this is that we 'plebs' are not intelligent enough to understand the whole investor pack and we would make inaccurate assessments without his and other pro guidance...a lot would say his guidance would not be much sought after.
Now make of that what you will, but I think there are likely to be fair number of shareholders offended that they are considered smart enough to invest in the company (based on another earlier executive summary or two called prospectuses) but not to be provided the full gambit of up to date information provided to selected others - probably who have no skin in the game..
From my years in engineering and governance, the purpose of an executive summary to to provide an overview of the main report and to assist the reader of said Exec Summary to make a decision on whether or not to wade through the full repot and seek further information from that full report that probably goes to 1000's of pages. What this should be is to release the Exec. summary and make the full report available on request.
Others might say hiding the full pack is to hide the years of incompetence and still others that ignorance keeps shareholders hoping.
So my favourite quote from Alan Edgar Poe fits in here... "Never believe anything you hear and only half that you see", because you are not going to see even half the available information.
