"Citi analyst Brendan Sproules said it could get “incrementally harder” for Australian banks to raise wholesale funding after recent events, pushing lenders to compete more for deposits.He said CBA and ANZ were best placed to raise more from deposits if needed, while NAB and Westpac were more reliant on wholesale funds.
"Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is known for its strong deposit franchise, but Sproules said Bank of Queensland and Judo Bank “would be susceptible to industry dynamics.”
