Niqo - with respect, you have seen how the Lynas issue fires up the interwebs in Malaysia and popular rappers and a large chunk of the youth. It's like a Tassie Dam, old growth forest type issue. It gets people up and out on the streets. You've seen that already.
How can you truthfully say that deferring the TOL would not have any bearing in getting Najib returned? Najib isnt going to try to do a Maggie Thatcher and stare down demonstrators on the street etc etc. He doesnt have to or need to. He just needs to keep doleing out money, smile and keeping a lid on everything. He doenst need the unpredictabilty of what would happen with the TOL right before the election. Politics 101.
