All I see left of anti-lynas is a hardcore associated with many other anti-government causes. They will not have their minds changed by anything, except perhaps what they're smoking. They have no genuine interest in hearing the arguments. They are not likely to make a jot of difference to even a local election. Their casue is entirely discredited in the eyes of the vast majority of sensible Malaysians.

PS pretty sure I remember Maggie setting the watercannons on the Irish Republicans, so not sure about the analogy with Najib and the Bersih protest. Maybe you're referring to Brixton and Toxteth or the miners? The good ol days, hey?
