Good post.. Any company that claims to be environmentally friendly by offering a Lithium-Ion battery IMO has to use natural graphite, otherwise it opens up avenues for their competitors to rubbish their product.
I cannot see Tesla using the synthetic product for the above reasons, so long as natural is available and achieves the qualities required. This in turn puts direct pressure on the competition (Western), minus the Chinese perhaps
Natural, is the natural option!
