ddzx,
Something to be said for this.
I have heard a number of testimonies given by people in which I found the joy in describing how bad they were excessive. The message that came across to me was: look how much more blessed I am than you are because I committed horrible sins for which I have been forgiven.
I feel that I need to grab a gun and go out there and create mayhem to earn sufficient street credit to earn a place with these people at God's table when I am forgiven.
Don't read me incorrectly, I'm all for people turning their lives round, but I sense there is just too much pride in the wrong doing - a pride that they seem to be saying puts them a cut above the rest of us when forgiven.
Something not quite right.
