    Buddha was happy when sinners & criminals confessed their sinfulness in a way that genuinely realised the harm of the "sin" so they would not "sin" again. however, Buddha did not talk about "sin" but instead of "harm". "sin" is disobeying "God" where as "harm" is harming, hurting & causing pain in others

    I just read the following verse:
    why must God judge the world?

    so what is more effective for reducing harm & sin?

    God? Christianity? Buddha? Kamahl? Karen Carpenter?
