This announcement from nml is positive for uml because if they plan to close down kangaroo flat, they could sell everything to nml at a very good price and nml could begin mining straight away. Another option is joint venture where uml farm out their staff, drilling rigs etc to nml or uml could take them over and get the high grade gold.

It is not a negative for uml that nml found gold near them, it is infact a positive and brings alot of options to the table.
