G'day Towie. Re future processing plant, I liked what Dugsab said to watch this space. I can't find anything on Georgetown but in any case I wouldn't be too happy with dealing with those involved in the original deal.If you look at what is in this particular project that is subject to the ILUA and ML, the JORC of 381,000 ounces is based over 8.2 million tonnes.
So, the Maroon Gold processing plant, even at 200,000 p/a capacity, it would take 40 years to just complete Stage 1.
That would be totally uneconomical also with the much lower grades than this proposed first lot and would certainly require a much higher yearly rate and, of course, a much better proportionate deal than the current one.
I'd be very surprised if we don't hear much more detail re future processing.
But, let's get this ILUA completed first and I'm sure management are chewing over it as we speak. I wonder if they answer their phones today??
