I don't trust either Rudd or Abbott. But Abbott deserves the chance because he has not yet stuffed up and gets the benefit of the doubt. Despite his massive shortcomings in some policy areas like PPL. Rudd has had his opportunity and was found wanting.
Having said that, living in the seat of Melbourne, I will probably donkey vote.
And will have to hope Abbott is a pleasant surprise in terms of his performance.
