    So , to address the hjeading, why were 146 etc... The High Court of Australia ruled it was illegal to hold them in indefinite detention as they are not Australian citizens, and, as their home countries didn't want them returned, they had to be relaesed. The Fed Govt is now scrambling to get legislation in place to allow the "detention" of the worst of them I belive. If my memory is correct it was being put through the House of Reps today and it went through the Senate earlier!!??
