when you are buying zfx to hold you are buying a relative position in the new entity on the 1:3.19etc ratio
So 1 ZFX share is 3.19/4.19 Zoxifex shares ie 0.76 of a share in the new company.
It might be construed that is dilution and so a lower %div. My approach would be to consider it a reasonable price to pay to have exposure to a much larger company with broader asset base and greater scope to increase earning thereby, hopefully, paying a larger dividend sooner.
(Also there can be no idea what the first divvies will be under the new company anyway).
