so while on a boat they are an asylum seeker. then when they hit the mainland they are an illegal immigrant?? too many technicalities for me. sometimes things can be black and white. they are trying to illegally immigrate under the cloak of seeking asylum or refuge. those that wait in line and follow the protocol must hate them for giving genuine refugees a bad name imo.
