Wouldnt they only be capping or smashing the S/P down if they wanted to make a take over offer in conjunction with taking up the 51%.
If they are just going to take up the 51% or make an offer for 100% of Roseby and not the whole company wouldn't the share price be largely irrelevant to them ?
