why would anyone fly qantas, page-9

A lot of the people who fly Qantas do not buy their own tickets. Its a hang-over from when Qantas was Government owned.

When you look at Qantas, Telstra, and the CBA, they are all tarred with the same brush, ie. run like Gov Departments.

I like Air New Zealand, and have been with them a lot.

Its kinds funny that Qantas drivels on about being the Australian airline, but Virgin has larger Australian shareholding.

Rex recently started flying Townsville to Mackay. Qantas immediately dropped some of its Gove flights so it could dump 40000 seats on the Rex route at $99, suddenly down from $130. Rex appealed to the ACCC, but then pulled out.

What a bully.
