Id assume its a risk mitigation measure by DBZ - take profits while they can. Say for example they get bonds issued at 15c, sell at an average of 26c thats an approximate 75% gain on their money within a matter of weeks.
If they continue to do this, DBZ could in fact recoup the $80 million being lent to CTP at a much earlier stage and ultimately have a somewhat "free carried" interest in CTP in the final bond issues.
Keep in mind the terms of the bond agreement - its either the lowest 5 days in the 25 or 15% discount to the 25 day price whichever less.
Those 16c days are gone which DBZ would have been taking advantage of - and now tranche prices are going to be substantially higher next time around. The more days that pass the less shares DBZ get for their money so why not capitalise now when the gap is so significant?
Thats only the one reason of many I could come up with but personally im relatively happy with the way things are panning out regarding the arrangement.
The only negative of the DBZ selling right now is what some like to call the "lemming effect".
