If that is the case, then you would be much better off buying SZL, as your loss would be significantly less. ZIP at 50 cents is just a reason not to buy either company. The question assumes you will be buying zip anyway and then asks, why not choose SZL given the discount.
For me, the discount just shows how much fear is out there and how irrational (and manipulated?) these stocks are.
If that is the case, then you would be much better off buying...
