Respectively, whether we feel the merger makes sense has no relevancy to the question asked. The only thing that is relevant is the risk of it not proceeding.
The question is whether yesterday's price discount made sense. Based on this morning's stock movements, you could argue it didn't and has somewhat corrected itself (unfortunately by ZIP shares going down rather than SZLs going up)
I still think it's too big a discount though so still better off buying SZL then ZIP from a risk/reward perspective.
