I use Lotus Notes at work. I can check at box and my messages will be encrypted to anyone within my workplace.
Encrypted messages can also be sent between people across different organisations as long as the sender and receiver both use Lotus Notes as their mail client. If I want someone to send me an encrypted message, I just get Lotus Notes to send them my public key. After they attach this public key to my entry in their address book they can then send me encrypted messages.
So any organisations who use Lotus Notes can already communicate securely using the public/private key method.
So why would people pay for the Certified Mail product?
