There is no incentive for any type of farmer to let their stock die, its their business, even if its only 0.75% in 5 of the 7 cages at that one site, it only gets worse if they ignore it, so its pretty extreme to think they tolerate such events.
I think part of the problem with their transparency, is that its very highly regulated, more so than farms on land. Anything they do or say is used by opponents of farming to try and destroy the industry rather than work constructively with them.
Its curious how negative stories dont turn up to till the weekend, when more people have free time to browse the news.
In any case, might be new buying opportunities.
