Who is this directed to?
If it's directed to me my thoughts are made clear earlier on these threads. People will pay a premium for sustainable, clean, seafood. I paid $50+/kg for flathead today. Tassal salmon (which I often buy) was barely $30/kg.
Managed, marketed and presented correctly as a premium offering I'd happily pay $40/kg. Same with prawns, there were 3 brands of frozen prawns on offer (all looked like frost from a freezer that hadn't been defrosted in 30 years). I've never considered buying them.
There's money to be made by Tassal but not just as a commodity. I may as well be invested in a potato field.
