SFG results out, relevant to us is their prawn numbers from QLD.
SFG: $21m revenue and 1068 tonnes total = $19.66/kg, production was 91% tiger prawns at 8 t/ha, Bannana Prawns at 8.3 t/ha
TGR: $59.8m revenue, 3915 tonnes = $17.85/kg, production all tiger prawns at 11.1 t/ha
So they are getting a better price than us, but its hard to read too much into that at this stage as we are still building up our product, and contract differences could be a significant factor. (prawns size is said to be an important factor also)
Its difficult to do a comparison beyond revenue (to ebitda) because i dont think their expansion costs are segmented properly.
