(part of a longer article):"The contest for salmon producer Huon Aquaculture appears to be facing minor delays, with the deadline for final bids extended.
Suitors for the listed business were set to lob their final offers on Tuesday, but the understanding is that several interested parties had not completed the necessary work on the acquisition target.
Huon announced on February 26 that it had launched a strategic review after receiving approaches for the business. A sales process has been launched by Grant Samuel and law firm Ashurst.
Among those in the competition are thought to be Brazilian meat processing giant JBS and at least one private equity firm, which some suspect is CPE Capital or TPG Capital..."
