r36, It's beyond doubt that a very small minority of cops are crooked....and should be hung and left there , in the public square, as an example.I'll pull the lever.
It's also beyond doubt that the vast majority of cops are very decent types who each day , are more and more hamstrung in doing their job as polute-ticians ....(in Canberra or in cosy jobs at the top of the Police force ) throw common sense and decency away to look after No.1.
Just read tonight this re. the English riots http://www.smh.com.au/world/london-riots-furniture-store-arsonist-jailed-20120412-1wu2j.html The guy , Thompson , had 20 previous convictions.
20 previous convictions....is that 20 previous victims also ???
And it's even a far more primitive system in Australia, with lawyers never out of work with repeaters, just the way they wanted it.
Victims are treated as garbage here, cops put under the microscope over everything and lawyers laughing at how stupid everyone is to accept the status quo
