I also have a mother-Inlaw in a private nursing home and understand your situation. But I don't believe your comments are relevant to this threads heading.
My personal opinion is that Nursing Homes owners should at least repay the bond payee's the CPI amount, from earnings on the short term and long term investments on the money market.
My comments will more than likely stir up investors who have shares in nursing home providers companies.
Basically these companies are double dipping - getting fundings from the federal Govt. plus the earnings on the bond monies.
