6. And I'd like clarification on this issue - TAX. Many will be sitting on large capital gains and already likely worried about the tax liabilities flowing on from the 06-07 financial year. As I understand it a script offer still constitutes a capital gain so therefore is taxable. When you have shares you purchased at sub 20c that tax implication is a major problem.
I'M HOLDING JUST AS A DID WITH WMR AND RPT til the very end. Imagine where both of those companies would be trading today had the takeover offers been rejected!!!
