Yep agree.
I have been burnt a couple of times trying to play the 50% discount capital gains rule so now do not make any buy/sell decisions based on tax. Good arbitrage opportunities to be made with the options...surprise some savvy investors haven't taken advantage of it. I would I just don't know how to borrow the stock....Buy the call, sell the stock, invest the difference in the bank.
