Although I'm no fan of PR I don't think it's in his interests to drag this out based on how many shares he has. $800k pa is small beer compared to the rewards he will reap if the SP improves. He's also got those options so I would say he is incentivized to improve the SP more than anyone.
His big advantage is that he knows exactly what's happening. whilst all we can do is speculate
