Yes they seem to have come very close with a Chinese regional deal just prior to previous CR.
My understanding is it won't be very onerous on PAR to include in existing P3 given Chinese nationals already represented >10% in Stage 1. Moreover in additional "in country" trials can be sorted out in conjunction with new partner at much lower cost and higher efficiency.
Commercial work will continue in background while they wait on FDA confirmation on Stage 2
