We actually e-mailed the MD a few months ago when the initial coal quality results came out (and by 'we' I mean the ppl who posted on TVN back then, most of whom are long gone).

His answer was pretty good I thought - he basically said "yes, the coal is low quality but we are confident that extraction costs will be low enough to make a viable project."

Which was a good answer, straight-talking. Pity there aren't more Chris Mardons around and fewer famosos. Chris Mardon probably even knows what fixed carbon is too!
