The interesting thing is why did igas make this move? In the next license round, which is planned later this year, they can go for xtra acreage. For free!!!

Plenty of good stuff still available. Still they go for dart; so there must be something special in the portfolio. Is it the scotland part?

I think for dart shareholders there is plenty of upside. Either join the ride in igas, or move over to Cuadrilla (ajl).
Effectively only igas and ajl are the way to play uk shale after this deal takes place.
