Why did the announcement even mention the subject of reserves, seriously why, both ROC and HDR seem to be reporting an "opinion" or a "guesstimate", something that both companies are very reluctant to do when the "guesstimate" or "opinion" refers to a positive like oil in place.
Ask HDR a direct question and often the answer is "we are not the operator and must rely on them for information" or some such similiar response, now it appears we have a change of policy, they are now releasing their own "guess" regarding reserves without it appears the support of the operator and it is not flagged market sensitive.
I for one will be glad to see the back of Simon Potter.
