I think because there are expectations that the Syndey plant will produce 550 million syringes per year. See the article from the Age last weekend.
Also the company is planning to sell the licence to overseas companies in order to meet global demand in future. This will happen very soon, I suppose.
Things are definitely very exciting. Long term stuff!
