Oh dear no...that is what the London Metals Exchange (LME) is trying to do.

I am on a train at the moment, so someone in this forum can fill you in. But in summary:

GXY sells spodumene concentrate from its Mt Cattlin operation. We do not sell DSO (dig out the carrots and all the dirt and sell carrot with the all the dirt).

Lithium is a specialist chemical (did I get that right?). It is not dig it out and ship it operation.

We, and I think the big 4 as well who have brine operations, all sell with annual prices fixed.

There was a good article a few weeks ago detailing why it is not easy to set a price. Maybe @Thesi can find it ...on a train at the moment.

The closest that you can find is the prices from asianmetals .... but, the prices in China does not reflect the prices for rest-of-world. That is, prices in China were recently lower than ROW because of poor quality from Chinese producers, but ROW was climbing.

Anyone can correct me if I am wrong in any of the above.
